The famous volcanic crater Diamond Head is located on the South-east Coast of O'ahu at the end of Waikiki overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The crater is 1,070 metres in diameter with a 232-metres summit. Earlier, one of the defense forts, Fort Ruger, occupied the Diamond Head Crater.
