Flakfortet, Copenhagen, Denmark

Flakfortet is a seafortress, located on an artificial island in Øresund outside Copenhagen. It was constructed in 1910-1914 and in use by the military until 1968. At its peak it housed 550 troops. In 2001 the fortress was sold to a Swedish company, but remains accessible to the public
