A fine MP from the Acropolis in Lindos - a natural citadel which offers spectacular views of the surrounding harbours and coastline. Lindos is an archaeological site and a former municipality on the east coast of the island of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese. Lindos was founded by the Dorians in the 10th century BC, and was one of 6 Dorian cities in the area known as the Dorian Hexapolis.
