
The Neues Palais (New Palace) is placed on the western side of the Sanssouci royal park in Potsdam. The construction was begun in 1763 under Frederick the Great and was completed in 1769.
The palace was built to celebrate Prussia's victory in the Seven Years' war and contains over 200 rooms.
