These amazing limestone pillars called Pinnacles are located in Western Australia's Nanbung National Park, just North of Perth (250 km!). The Pinnacles stand at a height of a few centimetres to several metres, and were formed from lime leaching from the sand and by rain cementing the lower levels of the dune into a soft limestone.
